University of Alicante

The University of Alicante (UA), Spain is a public university located on the Mediterranean coast. Because of its historical influences, excellent location and magnificent connections, the University is a diverse-oriented and welcoming university with one of the best campuses in Spain, not only in terms of infrastructure, but also in terms of landscaping, sustainability and gender equality awareness. Although relatively young, it has a strong scientific and academic credibility which has allowed the university to adapt to social changes and to the needs of its environment, thus leading a substantial change of an economic model based on research, innovation, entrepreneurship and actual transfer of knowledge. Particularly, this is carried out by the Department of commercial law and litigation, the promoter of this Convention on behalf of the University of Alicante, which integrates renowned specialists with a vast experience in the field of IP law.
